![]() Wolff is an Associate Professor of Global Health at Boston University School of Public Health (BUSPH) where he teaches Planning and Managing Maternal and Child Health Program in Low Resource Settings, Improving Health Outcomes Using Mobile Technologies, Program Design for Global Health, and Making Programs Work: Program Implementation for Global Health. On Island, Alexis has worked on food access and nutrition education programming with the Island Grown Initiative and now focuses her efforts on public health resilience and efficiency as a Population Health Specialist with the Inter-Island Public Health Collaborative.ĭr. She is also a member of the Food is Medicine MA Research Task Force and has collaborated on advocacy and research efforts with the Center for Health Law and Policy Innovation at Harvard Law School. Alexis holds a dual Bachelor’s of Arts and Science in International Affairs and Economics from Northeastern University and a Master’s of Science in Applied Nutrition and Food Policy from the Tufts Friedman School of Nutrition. Originally from Worcester, MA, Alexis blends her early lived experiences connecting immigrant communities and minority populations with food access and affordable housing with her academic training in equitable global food systems and nutrition policy. He currently serves as the Chief Medical Officer for South End Community Health Center in Boston. Greg joins IHC as a Collaborating Pediatrician with our Nurse Practitioner provider staff.Īlexis has been visiting the Island since her childhood and holds fond memories of gathering with cousins on South Beach. Moving to an underserved area in Kentucky, he founded and arranged continued funding for a model rural maternal and child project, an early adaptor of “the medical home” for children. He moved to the University of Louisville, where he accepted joint appointments in pediatrics and family practice and became the Associate Dean for Primary Care. From 2011 until July 2015 he served as Vice-President for Medical Services and Chief Medical Officer at the Family Health Center of Worcester. He was a Major in the United States Air Force and Chief of Pediatrics at Torrejon Air Base, Spain. ![]() He completed his pediatric residency at the University of Minnesota, serving as Chief Resident in his last year. by Yale University in 1965, with a year spent as a visiting research fellow in pathology at Cambridge (U.K.). with honors in biology from Lafayette College in 1960 and was awarded his M.D. ![]()
